Hello All,
Are we near a 2.0 release? What's the to-do list? I can help w/ fixes etc.

Patched here:

First need to fix initialization bug and add some unit tests, patched here:

Ack. Sorry :) Hadn't seen it. I'll summarise where Lang 2.0 is tonight and
apply your patch if no one else has applied it yet.

I've been migrating my main server, so a bit overwhelmed with spam now
that spam-assasin is not yet installed, so been a bit lax on things.
I'm pretty sure the lang todo is:
1) Any new bugs in bugzilla. RandomStringUtils is one I know of.
2) New additions to RandomUtils. Probably add some bits in here as Phil is
doing some great work here.
3) Fixing the order of the reversing of stack trace. Mohan Kishore was
working on this, status Mohan?
Number 3 is the major hold up. The rest are all relatively minor in
difficulty I believe.

Well, that's all of the needs for 2.0 as far as I can tell. Does anyone
else have any other blocks on Lang 2.0?
How about any of the bugs still listed on:
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&product=Commons&component=Lang&short_desc=&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time
The sub-packages time and reflect would not be released. Anything else
that shouldn't go?
I'd like to volunteer to do the release management, as I'd like to
test/learn Robert's new release documentation, but if anyone would prefer
to do it feel free to pipe up.
Timewise, I'm thinking of a quick build tomorrow night as an rc1, then
after a few days of deliberation we would aim for a release on Monday.
Assuming things worked well etc. Any views?
