Building with jetty 9 support

The current binary release does not support jetty 9 and my base server uses
jetty 9, so I first went to get the source code to see if I modify for jetty
9 support and tried to build for eclipse using mvn eclipse:eclipse and it
failed getting the dependencies for the apollo-dto project. Then I saw that
there was a branch
'activemq-apollo-posta-jetty9' done by one of the developers that already
had jetty 9 support. So I tried to build that and after invoking mvn
eclipse:eclipse I got the same error when downloading the dependencies for
apollo-dto. The error is (among a lot of others):

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.7:run (default) on project
apollo-dto: An Ant BuildExc
eption has occured: taskdef A class needed by class
com.sun.tools.jxc.SchemaGenTask cannot be found:
com/sun/mirror/apt/AnnotationPr
ocessorFactory

Maven is one of the greatest black boxes of confusion for me and experience
has shown that 90% of the problems are due to broken links in the pom files.
I do have maven 3.1.0 installed.

Has anyone else experienced this error and do you know what the correct link
or fix to the pom file might be?

Thanks,

Brian

Yes, I have JDK 7 and I did the plain install (no Eclipse). The error report
shows something to do with ANT classes. So maybe I have a too-old version of
ANT.

For the time being I will gladly make use of your binary and as a
side-effect it will get some testing. Thanks for the effort.

I just ran mvn clean install -Dtest=false and it worked fine. Did you
try doing that exact command and not the eclipse commands? Also make
sure you're using JDK 7

I have uploaded the binaries here:

Yes, it is for apollo. I get the same error if I try and skip the tests. Its
not getting to the point of running the tests; the three projects that fail
do not get created. My ignorance of maven is too great to make sense of the
error.

Would it be possible to provide a binary version of this branch as a zip? I
would like to use the apollo server as an MQTT server from my server and
thus the option to embed this broker is a big plus. My server is, however,
based upon jetty 9 which advertised big improvements over 8. So I went with
it!

This is for apollo, right?
What happens if you invoke the following?

>mvn install -Dtest=false

FYI.. i am not sure how many of us use eclipse... might be a couple...
but I use intellij.. so not sure if the eclipse profiles are built
correctly. would need someone to verify and fix them on their box.
