Hi,
Changes since Release Candidate 4:
[UIMA-2077] Remove base test from extended-test profile in uimaj-as-activemq
failsafe plugin contained in pom.xml
[UIMA-2076] Modify maven-failsafe-plugin in uimaj-as-activemq pom.xml to use
UTF-8 encoding
[UIMA-2075] UIMA AS deploy script Deploy_NoOpAnotatorWithCpCDelay contains
wrong AE descriptor name
[UIMA-2072] Fix UIMA AS log message
[UIMA-2071] Change the specification of sorting keys to correspond to the
sequence needed by the latest Jira upgrade
[UIMA-2069] Remove hardcoded port numbers from UIMA AS tests
[UIMA-2068] Modify UIMA AS broker configuration file to include
optimizedDispatch="true"
[UIMA-2065] UIMA AS client needs ShutdownHook to close broker connection
[UIMA-2064] UIMA AS client doesnt always throw ResourceProcessException
[UIMA-2063] UIMA AS Build Requires spring-aop-3.0.3.RELEASE.jar
[UIMA-2059] Modify UIMA AS assembly script to include version in the base
directory name
[UIMA-2058] UIMA AS example program RunRemoteAsyncAE calls System.exit()
[UIMA-2055] Refactor UIMA AS JmsOutputChannel code
[UIMA-2031] FileSystemCollectionReader.xml in UIMA AS examples doesnt
specify Language parameter
[UIMA-2030] Fix invalid paths in various uima as scripts
[UIMA-2029] Modify RunRemoteAsyncAE status message on service startup

SVN Tag Checkout:

If you would like to use the staged maven release artifacts within your
maven build
you need to use version 2.3.1 and include in your settings.xml a reference
to
the staging repository:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheuima-064

Hi,
so far users found two major and two minor issues with UIMA AS Release
Candidate 5:
1) Intermittent hang of UIMA AS service while stopping . Status: FIXED
2) ShutdownHook in UIMA AS Client registered multiple times while running
extended tests. Status: FIXED
3) UIMA AS Process ID (PID) formatting. Status: FIXED
4) Added new message to a log when UIMA AS service catches kill
signal. Status: FIXED
I planning to release Candidate 6 this Friday. If you know of any additional
bugs in Candidate 5 please
let me know asap so that I can address them.
