Thank You!!!!

As someone who gets far more out of the list than he gives, I just
wanted to say thank you to everybody out there for being so helpful.

Thanks to Howard especially and other contributors who've made Tapestry
(mostly) a joy to work with, the people who take the time to explain
things when they probably don't have the time, and the clever people
doing clever things with the framework that give me great ideas.

I'm starting to teach Tapestry to a group of high school seniors
tomorrow. Usually, my frantic messages to the list get sent early in
the morning when I'm trying to get ready for class, but then I head off
to school where the powers that be block my mail client so I have to
wait until I get home to check for answers. Usually, by that time, I'm
exhausted after seven hours of teaching and an hour or two of
extra-curricular stuff, so the helpful answer gets filed and a day or
two later I get around to trying out someone's kind suggestion. And
then I can't remember what I was doing anyway. And then I finally do,
and I make a little progress.

And, often, I forget to say thank you, because it's now three days
later, and, okay, no excuses, I'm a putz. But, when that happens--and
it will again, I'm sure--I just wanted everybody to know that I really
appreciate your answering my questions with good humor, patience, and
accuracy.

Todd

P.S. This sucking up has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my
15 students may soon be bothering you as well with stupid newbie
questions. Be gentle. :-)
