--------------------------------------
[~davsclaus] & [~ronny.aerts.intris] I looked over the code around this issue. There are couple of things that i don't understand.
Is the purpose here like below?
You have camelContext like below;
and myCoolRoutes.xml under yourDir gets updated and you want to reload routeContext?
If that's the case, i am not sure if it is easy fix. Could you guide more?
{code}
<!-- import the routes from another XML file -->
<import resource="yourDir/myCoolRoutes.xml"/>
<camelContext xmlns="http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring">
<!-- refer to a given route to be used -->
<routeContextRef ref="myCoolRoutes"/>
<!-- we can of course still use routes inside camelContext -->
<route id="inside">
<from uri="direct:inside"/>
<to uri="mock:inside"/>
</route>
</camelContext>
{code}

> The FileWatcherReloadStrategy can be configured to watch for changes in one specific folder. I created ticket CAMEL-11273 in order to also check for changed routeContext files. To point is that we use a lot routeContext files in a lot of folders and it is not possible to configure all those folders.
> I would be very nice for me to able to specify that a folder can be watched recursively (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18701242/how-to-watch-a-folder-and-subfolders-for-changes).
> Another improved is to be able to watch several folders. The used WatchService is able to handle multiple folders.
