Does Sybase work with James?
Greetings,
I am new to James. I have set it up to run on file system with no
problems. Now, I am trying to change the stores to Sybase. I didn't see
Sybase listed in sqlResource.xml. I searched this list and the web
without any lock.
I hope somebody here could give a hand. Has anybody ever tried Sybase?
Or someone could give me a clue for where to start?
Thanks,
Siyan

You can change sqlResource.xml to add Sybase support: if you know sybase sql
this should be easy.
You need to add a <dbMatcher> tag for the sybase product name (I don't know
what's the product name).
Probably it contains the name used for the JDBCDriver.
You can then add the specific sql statement for each operation.
IMHO you can start from the "mssql" configuration as IIRC sybase and mssql
are similar.
