[jira] [Created] (AURORA-313) Add variable min offer jitter time
window so Aurora can decline offers faster
Bjoern Metzdorf created AURORA-313:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Add variable min offer jitter time window so Aurora can decline offers faster
Key: AURORA-313
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AURORA-313
Project: Aurora
Issue Type: Task
Components: Scheduler
Reporter: Bjoern Metzdorf
The jitter time defining the upper bound of a random time window that gets added to {{min_offer_hold_time}} is currently hard coded to 5 minutes.
This makes Aurora sit on resource offers very long and it starves other schedulers.
The jitter time should be configurable so Aurora can decline offers faster.
