[jira] [Commented] (OOZIE-2002) Removed un-used property
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OOZIE-2002?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16043333#comment-16043333 ]
Artem Ervits commented on OOZIE-2002:
-------------------------------------
looks like the property
{noformat}
use.system.libpath.for.mapreduce.and.pig.jobs
{noformat}
was removed in Oozie 4.2, it's listed in oozie-default for 4.1 [1] but is missing in 4.2 [2]. I didn't find any associated code with the property however. This looks like a closed issue to me.

> Looks like the following property is not used, but is available in oozie-default and oozie-site
> {noformat}
> <property>
> <name>use.system.libpath.for.mapreduce.and.pig.jobs</name>
> <value>false</value>
> <description>
> If set to true, submissions of MapReduce and Pig jobs will include
> automatically the system library path, thus not requiring users to
> specify where the Pig JAR files are. Instead, the ones from the system
> library path are used.
> </description>
> </property>
> {noformat}
