Flume -> HBase

Hi,

Flume [1] looks nice.
Can it write to HBase out of the box?
I'm asking because I see HBase mentioned in its User Guide, but kind of in passing.

Thanks,
Otis

FYI: https://issues.cloudera.com/browse/FLUME-6

I think I figured out a way around my classpath/test pain. Working on an
update.

Yeah, I realized after I sent I asked on the wrong list and went to flume-user to ask where I got a positive answer. Thanks.

Hey Otis,

Yes, Patrick Hunt wrote a flume sink a couple weeks back for HBase, but I
don't think it has been intrgrated to trunk yet. You can find the flume list
here to inquire more:

Hundred,

Good question. You should ask the flume list I think.

Good luck,
