Truobles Struts built-in Logs?

In WebSphere Test Environment there are some problems with "Servlet.log"s.
They work just in Servlet.init.
Any way to override all built-in logs in Struts to Log4j logs transparently?
Any plans to use commons.logging in struts 1.1 (or nightly build)?
