[Issue 124675] New: master view is closed by clicking on master page or master thumbnail

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124675

          Issue ID: 124675
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: master view is closed by clicking on master page or
                    master thumbnail
           Product: Impress
           Version: 4.0.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux64
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: viewing
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: bugs@bitmuster.org

Impress jumps unintentionally from master view to normal view by clicking on a
page or a master thumbnail. This seems to be the case when a master slide is
not used yet.

The problem occurs in lager presentations and new presentations

1) Create new empty presentation
2) Switch to Master View
3) Click right on 1st master thumbnail and select "New Master"
4) Select new 2nd master thumnail
5) Click on the master slide to edit it and you are back in non master mode

alternatively

4a) Click on the master slide to edit it and you are back in non master mode
(There are also other ways)

It seems like pressing PageUp or PageDown before cklicking onto a master page
avoids the problem so that the master can be edited normally.

I have this issue on Windows 7, as well. Just wondering/hoping that it's been
addressed for Windows as well as Linux. Will this be in the 4.1 code?
