registering module handler for a request. ap_hook_handler( )'s definition

Hi,

In apache 2.2.0, I want to see the definition for ap_hook_handler( ). But no
where I am finding the definition for this.

Using ap_hook_handler( ), how to register the handler for a particular http
request?
