paid assistance

Hi there

Im trying to set up and run nutch as an experiment for my work, I am not
100% linux/unix literate and have tried to get nutch and solr running on an
ubuntu machine with a few hiccups

However its gotten to the point where I am not willing to pay someone to
help me get it running.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but i have no idea where else to
turn to,

I just wanna get it up and running and crawling the net

Thanks

BTW we should add a "Parties to hire" on the WIKI just like on Lucene or
SOLR

Paul - feel free to get in touch (contact@digitalpebble.com) if you need
professional support. Am based in Bristol

Alternatively you would get help from the friendly Nutch community on this
list by describing what your issues are

Are you or are you not willing to pay? I'm asking because the subject of
the thread indicates you are, but your initial message states you're not.
Just to avoid confusion..

When you say outservice the service, what do you mean? the crawler, engine
service?? or the service of getting someone to assist me in setting it up ?

Well the kind developers over the years provided a tutorial[0] which
you can find on the Nutch wiki. This is your best bet if you are not
willing to out source the service. Next runner up is to monitor these
lists like a hawk.
