Branch is too large, Internal restriction

I have a jsp file in which I use the following construct 15 times to iterate
over a collection of errors and display a gif against a field which matched
a field in the error collection:

			<logic:iterate id="crosscheckfield"
name="crosscheckInfo" property="crosscheckFields">
				<logic:equal name='crosscheckfield'

					<logic:equal name='crosscheckfield'
property="crosscheckFieldName" value="<%=CrosscheckFieldName.CCDWELLING%>">
						<html:messageerror
name='crosscheckInfo' property="displayHTML"/>
					</logic:equal>
				</logic:equal>
			</logic:iterate>
		 </logic:iterate>

When I try to run the page I get the following:

27: Branch is too large, Internal restriction. public class
_PCASelectCoverages_xjsp_727710153 extends HttpJspBase { 
Is there some restriction on the numer of struts tags which can be used
within one JSP ?
