Working on this Ted, done with all of the classes except those that extend AbstractIterator (like- FileLineIterator, SequenceFileValueIterator, SequenceFileIterator, ARFFIterator etc.. I can look into those classes tomorrow morning.

Attached patch has changes for all of the classes except for those that extend AbstractIterator.
