Congratulations to Shane for Apache Member Election!

I just want to congratulate Shane Curcuru for election into membership in
the Apache Foundation.  Shane has spearheaded xml-commons, which holds
common API code for XML projects.  He has been very active on the Xalan
project and on the xml general list, and has  been the leader of the XSLT
testing framework in the Xalan project.  He has a strong quality
engineering background, and is generally very capable.  He is well known in
the Apache XML community, and will be a great addition to the Apache
membership.  Well deserved!
