Wang Yeliang created KAFKA-13550:
------------------------------------

Summary: Jointly develop Kafka-upstream function support to fully integrate APISIX and Kafka
                 Key: KAFKA-13550
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-13550
             Project: Kafka
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Wang Yeliang

Hi, community,

My name is Yeliang Wang, and I am Apache APISIX Committer.

long ago, Apache APISIX implemented the Kafka-logger plugin ( [https://apisix.apache.org/docs/apisix/plugins/kafka-logger/] ), can be used as NGX_ Kafka client driver for Lua nginx module, and many users are using this function.

Here, I would like to invite the Apache Kafka community to the Jointly develop Kafka-upstream function support to fully integrate APISIX and Kafka.

I believe in doing so, it can not only meet the diversified needs of users, but also enrich the surrounding ecology of Apache Kafka and Apache APISIX.

Wait for more discussion……
