[jira] [Created] (LEGAL-595) Correct handling of a dual-licensed dependency
Chris Nauroth created LEGAL-595:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Correct handling of a dual-licensed dependency
Key: LEGAL-595
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-595
Project: Legal Discuss
Issue Type: Question
Reporter: Chris Nauroth
In ZOOKEEPER-4427, Apache ZooKeeper is considering adoption of Logback for logging infrastructure. Logback is dual-licensed under LGPL (category X/disallowed) and EPL (category B/allowable) [1].
Does ZooKeeper need to do something specific to indicate that it chooses to adopt the terms of EPL, and not LGPL? Do we need particular phrasing in the ZooKeeper NOTICE.txt [2] to record our choice of EPL?
