XalanTransformer::eOmitMETATag
What exactly is this for? Is it HTML only, or is it the equivalent of
xsl:output's omit-xml-declaration?

Sorry, there was a typo in my earlier post. Here's what I meant to say:
If set to true, Xalan will not _emit_ a META tag when serializing HTML.
