Hi,

Okay, I'm new here, so please forgive my ignorance. I just ported 0.8.11 to
SCO. I now realise that I should have ported 0.8.12, or perhaps even .13?

I've read the stuff about voting, and I'm slightly confused.

a) Who allocates patch numbers?
b) How, at any particular moment, do I find out what C_VERSION is?
c) I assume that if a patch depends on other patches, its patchfile should
be the diffs against CURRENT+those other patches, and not against CURRENT
as the docs state?

On a slightly different note, I'm thinking about SSL (foolish, I know). Does
anyone have any inkling where source may be found for the various crypto bits
it requires?

Cheers,

Ben.
