agreed on assumption of same cause. I am not assuming same root cause, just same error. I am also using IE7 emulated mode, so something to keep in mind there too.

My test was as follows:

1) Use IE 9 w/ developer tools
2) Log into portal
3) Switch to IE7 browser mode.

Bottom line, jQuery isn't there when the page loads. Whether this is due to the same issue as the ipad is undetermined.

Unfortunately I don't have an ipad available to do testing here. I was not able to reproduce on desktop safari or on the iphone. All of the errors you are seeing are coming from the fact that jquery (referred to as $ or a in the screenshots you linked) is undefined. I believe jquery is being linked from a cdn, so I would probably try linking to a local copy or changing versions as a first step.

You can produce the same error in IE 7 using Rave 0.11. Even though it works perfectly fine in IE >= 8.

Interestingly, if you navigate to a different page then back to the portal it works in IE. Is this the same behavior you are seeing on the iPad?

Matt, I did test in IE7 and saw some of - but not all - the same errors on the login page. I did not see any of them on the portal page.

I can revist this, but I think it seems like a leap to assume these share the same cause.

Turns out, ours was a proxy issue with IE 7, so no help after all. Sorry for the red herring.

Shailendra, did adding it locally help your issue?

Current java script issue is resolved now. Error was coming due partial internet access to IPad. After getting full accesses in IPad all java script errors automatically removed. Thanks for valuable input. I am closing this issue.
