[jira] [Commented] (OAK-5972) Provide a way to abort indexing /
reindexing of synchronous indexes
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-5972?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15940412#comment-15940412 ]
Thomas Mueller commented on OAK-5972:
-------------------------------------
[~chetanm] this is for synchronous indexes. Right now it's part of the commit, but once we split up reindexing it will be possible to stop that as well.
(Or maybe we just use the same / a similar mechanism as for asynchronous reindexing, in which case we have solved that problem as well).

> Indexing and reindexing is slow. There should be a way to abort this (for example if it was started by accident).
