Interested in contributing to Avro Project

Hi
I am a second year computer engineering student in the University of
Buea Cameroon-Africa.
I am interested in the Avro project especially the C API.
I am good in C and C++ and which to contribute to the C API of Apache Avro.
Can someone help me with links for me to clone the correct source code
for the Avro Project and start understanding its code base then start
contributing to it?
cheers

I'm not an avro project member, but the wiki page has a "How to Contribute"
guide here:
