EIP Aggregator timeouts

When an EIP Aggregator times out, should the aggregate messageExchange created have an ERROR status or should the message be flagged in such a way to indicate this condition? In AbstractAggregator.sendAggregate, I was surprised to find that there is no special processing performed when timeout = true. Is this an oversight?

You can not send a new exchange with an ERROR status. I guess one way
would be to send an InOnly exchange to another endpoint specifically
when a timeout occurs, but it really depends on the kind of
aggregation used. Overriding the method is quite easy if you want to
do some custom processing too.
