[jira] [Created] (CLIMATE-538) Allow selection of elevation level
on dataset load
Michael Joyce created CLIMATE-538:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Allow selection of elevation level on dataset load
Key: CLIMATE-538
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLIMATE-538
Project: Apache Open Climate Workbench
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: data sources
Affects Versions: 0.4
Reporter: Michael Joyce
Assignee: Michael Joyce
Fix For: 0.5
At the moment we can't specify the elevation index when loading a dataset in local.py. This can be problematic with datasets with a number of valid elevation options. This was especially noticeable when working on CLIMATE-518. We should add an optional parameter for dataset loading so a user can specify an elevation index besides 0.
