switching jdk's

Does anybody know how to switch between several jdk's in Tomcat?

Before runnning the startup scripts:
- unix: export JAVA_HOME=/opt/java/java1.3.1 # or wahtever path
- windows (shudders): SET JAVA_HOME=c:\ick\java\java1.3
