Gyewon Lee commented on REEF-1760:
----------------------------------

If you are interested in writing a proposal on this issue, refering to REEF-on-YARN and REEF-on-Mesos code would be a good starting point. Also, it would be helpful to study differences between Kubernetes and YARN & RM.

> Support REEF on Kubernates

>
> Key: REEF-1760
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/REEF-1760
> Project: REEF
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: REEF

> Now, REEF supports various resource managers (RMs) like YARN and Mesos. [Kubernetes|https://kubernetes.io/] could be another option for REEF.
> As Kubernetes provides docker shell for each container, the REEF evaluator would run on the virtual docker containers provided from Kubernetes - which could be different from REEF-on-YARN or REEF-on-Mesos.
