Data validation patch

Hello,

I'm struggling in order to make this data validation
patch<http://issues.us.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27511>work,
but it's harder than it seems...

I've patched 2.5.1 and 3.0a (two different weeks snapshots) and it always
has some errors. The best results seems to be obtained with 2.5.1, since I
just have to make two trivial changes for poi to compile (extra colon and
uncomment a record list declaration). This way I can write a trivial excel,
one with only a list validation cell.

Is it planned to be merged with the 3 branch?
