Inquiry About GSoC 2025 Project: Support database backup to cloud storage.

Dear Kvrocks Developers,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Faisal Mehmood, and I am interested in contributing to Kvrocks
for GSoC 2026. I came across the project titled “Support database backup to
cloud storage” listed on the Kvrocks wiki. According to the wiki, the
project status is "open" and currently shows as "unassigned."

I wanted to confirm whether this project is still available for
contribution, or if someone has already been assigned to it. I am very
enthusiastic about contributing and would like to prepare accordingly.

Any guidance or clarification regarding the project status would be greatly
appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for your interest in Apache Kvrocks. The task is currently
open and unassigned. We may resubmit it for GSoC 2026, but please note
there’s no guarantee, as non-GSoC contributors may also pick it up.
