replacing existing files over rsync.

Does the current RSYNC allow for replacing files? If we have an
incorrectly released file in the central repo and want to replace it
is this possible via rsync?

It should not be possible. If you make a mistake then release it
again. Letting people do this means we have a form of revisionist
history. The mistakes live on and you should release again. It's
pretty dangerous to start fiddling with the canonical store.

A party which is not afraid of letting culture,
business, and welfare go to ruin completely can
be omnipotent for a while.
