Prob with tomcat 5.0.28 and AIX 5.3 ML4

Hi,
i am new to the list. If have a problem getting tomcat 5.0.28 work under AIX
5.2 ML4. I try the newest Version of IBMs java 1.4.2 and 1.3.1. for AIX. 
8 of my servers work fine, 10 doesn't run the tomcat. I use the tomcat
binary distribution from jakarta. TC stops when parsing the first XML-config
file from webapps. The catalina.out shows always the same:

Connecting to the listener port from a browser give no answer.

Any hint to this issue?
