#  [API Documentation|https://airflow.apache.org/api.html#authentication] states that the API is open/insecure by default.
 # [Security Documentation|https://airflow.apache.org/security.html#security] does not mention the API.

Can we either:

a) Disable the API by default, and have instructions on how to enable the experimental API?

or

b) Place a warning on the security documentation page that the API is open by default.
