mod_xslt does not correctly replace file extensions

Summary: mod_xslt does not correctly replace file extensions
           Product: XalanC
           Version: 1.4.x
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: Other
         Component: XalanC
        AssignedTo: xalan-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: berin@ozemail.com.au

The mod_xslt sample is used as a separate package in Debian distributions.

Recently a bug has been found where the extension is not correctly mapped.

Because the code looks for the _first_ '.' character, virtual server document
roots tend to throw it - it will incorrectly map the input document :

/var/www/www.foo.org/xslt/foo.html to

/var/www/www.xsl

Have created a potential fix and will attach.

Cheers,
    Berin
