Undetermined tag

I tried to follow an example and the documentation but I still don't
know what is wrong.... I'm sure it is something very simple (?)

<html:select property="day">
   <html:option value="01">01</html:option>
...
...
</html:select>

I get a JasperException - undetermined tag.

Thanks.
