Token values not present in the response earlier request

Hi,

I'm creating a JMeter script in which couple of token values are passed in
requests.

But when I try to correlate them, I'm unable to find those token values in
the responses of the any request.

Why this is happening?
How can I correlate them?

Regards,
AP

Could be generated data by a javascript or plugin in the browser. If this is a third party product you probably have some sort of support contract where you can get help.
I've seen cases where parameters are base64 encoded and even combined together with other parameters when being sent back to the server (also by javascript code), if it is decode and see whats in it, that might be the "real" parameters that came from a previous response.

We are using a third party application (mailinator.com)

So internal development team don't have any idea about it.

Re: Token values not present in the response earlier request

I found the reason behind this.

I was generating .har file using developers tool and converting it to.jmx.
Some responses were blank in developers tool.

Later recorded same script with JMeter http proxy recorder. Actually there
is valid response body available when recorded with JMeter http proxy
recorder.

Now I'm able to extract dynamic values.

Sorry,
just you need to figure out from where they are getting, you can ask devs
as well.
You can as dvs, without getting the source you can't correlate.

These token values are not present in any request response.

They are in request URL or request headers.

You have to look in the request where those tokens are generated,
Then capture those tokens and pass in subsequent requests.
