Registry template for Win32 changed?
Hi,
I installed svn-0.16.1-r4276-setup.exe.
My computer is behind a firewall and now I cannot check out the
subversion sources any more.
I looked at the registry template in the subversion folder and it
seems, that nothing has changed:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tigris.org\Subversion\Servers\DEFAULT]
"host"="(your proxy host here)"
"port"="(your proxy port here)"
"username"="(your proxy username here)"
"password"="(your proxy password here)"
"timeout"="(timeout in seconds, omit or use 0 to get a default)"
Is there a new location for the settings?

It's also a little non-Windows-y to ignore empty registry values. :-)
The point of the exercise was to let you create example registry
templates where the values are present but ignored, _and_ support empty
values, all at the same time.

Ah. I see that this code was instead changed to ignore keys that
start with '#'. A little...non-Windows-y, but whatever. I'll fix the
.reg template to account for this.

Thanks, I used the new registry settings and now I can checkout
again. :-)

New .reg is posted, but it seems someone has fouled up the code that
allows empty registry entries to be treated as non-existant (a useful
feature since the registry doesn't have the luxury of commented-out
reminders of key names). So, for now, you should delete any of the
keys that you aren't using.

The win32 key names are defined to be exactly like the keys in the INI
files. I'll fix the posted .reg file.

I don't know about the win32 registry, but the proxy variable names
have definitely all changed in the ~/.subversion/servers file. I
wonder if the registry keys need to be caught up too...
