Wanted: Apache Gearpump LOGO
Hi all,
We are looking for an iconic LOGO for Gearpump, if you have interest,
please submit your proposal in this mail thread😀
*What logo are we looking for?*
1. Simple and beautiful
2. Can link intuitively with "Gearpump"
*Background: why we name it as Gearpump?*
The name Gearpump is a reference to the engineering term “gear pump,” which
is a super simple pump that consists of only two gears, but is very
effective at streaming water. The message we want to convey in the name is*
"Simple", "Effective", *and *"Streaming".*

When selecting the logo, please be sure to pay attention to licensing. If a
committer with an ICLA creates the image, of course it's no problem.
Otherwise you need to be sure the material is licensed as CC-BY or CC-BY-SA
(see https://creativecommons.org/licenses/ and
http://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#cc-sa), or convince the artist to
license it to the project and Foundation under those terms.

Good attempts, guys!
I must admit, Pancho's proposition (although missing 'pump' part) brings
fresh perspective on the subject :). Gearman could be a good 'patron' of
Gearpump developer community, I think.
On the technical side:
I think we should consider how the chosen logo would look like when scaled
down. (How smaller version of it would look like.)

Looks good to me. Maybe we shall change the ratio between gears and the length of stream? I just feel the length of stream is too long, just personal opinion.
