[jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-1646) Enabling logging in guacamole docker container

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1646?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17571934#comment-17571934 ]

Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-1646:
------------------------------------------

[~Scheepers]: I think the issue is that you do not seem to be asking for us to implement something additional, which is what Jira is for, you seem to be asking if it can be done. Jira is not a general discussion forum, it is for requesting features, documenting bugs, etc. So, it's probably as much about you worded it as anything else. If you have a question about functionality, you should subscribe to the mailing list and ask the question, there. If, on the mailing list, you determine that there is no way to accomplish what you want to do, you can come here and request a feature.

As it is, there's already a way to do what you're asking to do, which we would have been able to help you out with on the mailing list - the variable you want is "LOGBACK_LEVEL".

I'll modify this Jira issue to be about documenting that.

> I've opened an issue type "wish" yesterday but it has been closed. Why? Normally you can use the issues page on Github repositories to address some problems you're experiencing during your deployments. I would say I can use this page for the same purpose right? Especially when I'm using the type: "Wish"
> So I'm trying to set the logging level to debug in Guacamole. I'm using a Kubernetes deployment. I successfully did this for the guacd container by adding the Environment variable GUACD_LOG_LEVEL.
> I've tried multiple ways, but I can't get it working. This is my StackOverflow post:
