[PROPOSAL] avalon-sandbox/docs
I would like to put together a docs project in avalon-samdbox in an
attempt to capture thoughts related to comtainment architectures and so
forth.
my suggestions is avalon-sandbox/docs
Any problems and/or suggestions - please post your opinions.

As far as it's a WIP and marked as such, it's ok, and we are all
entighteled to patch the doc and comment on it, to make it represent the
thoughts of all of us.
As for sandbox sites.
If it's a sandbox project page it should not placed in a prominent
position and *clearly* marked as a sandbox project site.
I propose that all sandbox projects prepend /sandbox/ to their URIs, as
Jakarta commons does, in the sake of clearness. Mixing released and
unreleased stuff is bad and has brought us only problems and bad pubblicity.

I tell you what - why don't you add your thoughts about the subject as
well - in fact anyone could contribute there thoughts on a containment
architectures - and maybe out of that we'll get a really good picture.

True. This must also work for Phoenix and any other effort that comes up
with technical decisions which are not based on community consensus.
Even if I think it would be harder in the future, for this community, to
do something and not base it on consensus.

Why does this have to go into the sandbox? This isn't floating some
unrelated topic, but actual doc about Avalon itself. The sandbox is for
testing ideas(*) rather than developing real stuff.
Each time you put something into the sandbox, you're stating that you
aren't taking any specific stance on whether it is Goodness or Wrongness
for the Avalon code. While that is admirable in an attempt to first derive
some kind of consensus around it, you *do* have to take a stake at some
point. Otherwise, you end up with everybody taking their individual ideas
off to the sandbox, and nobody ends up actually collaborating on stuff
within the main Avalon repository(!).

(*) I'd still advise against too much "looseness" here and try to get
people figuring out *very* strongly how to align the codebase rather than
using the sandbox as a long-term vector for separation. A couple questions
the PMC can ask before authorizing a new section within the sandbox: is
the request grounded in a technical or a personal basis? Will there be
multiple committers in the new sandbox area?
