There is unrelated build failure thou:

 row must be non-null but is marked as nullable [org.apache.hadoop.hive.common.log.InPlaceUpdate$1] At InPlaceUpdate.java:[line 164] NP_PARAMETER_MUST_BE_NONNULL_BUT_MARKED_AS_NULLABLE
