[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-3388) Move Bigtop Site off Apache CMS

Olaf Flebbe created BIGTOP-3388:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Move Bigtop Site off Apache CMS
                 Key: BIGTOP-3388
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-3388
             Project: Bigtop
          Issue Type: Task
         Environment: Apache bigtop
            Reporter: Olaf Flebbe

[~andreww] asked us to look into moving away from CMS.

We are already using a static site generate (mvn site plugin) and uploading this right now
to https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/staging/bigtop/trunk/content manually.

I would very much prefer to have a jenkins job: Checking out bigtop's git master, running mvn site and uploading the content of the target/site directory to the final destination. There is no immediate need for a staging environment since one can test changes locally (Our website is about 60 files, that’s it). I may have to remove some obsolete info first, but it works for now.

How can we do the „uploading to final destination“ ? I suppose we are not the first one doing this. I cannot find any information on how to do this.
