[Issue 126155] Accidently clicking the box to add chart causes drastic changes to outlay

You are in wrong place here. This is a bug tracking system and not a helpdesk.
Next time, for this kind of question, ask directly to the support forum or
users mailing list.

Step 6 is not correct
You must exit from chart to set Ctrl+Z available.
So just click on another place in the slide but outside the chart edge.

This accident is caused by issue 125613
