[DISCUSS] Purge hbase-archetypes?

Anyone using it? As far as I know it goes unsupported (anyone interested in
this project?).

Building a release takes two hours, one hour of which is archetype
machinations, so its not my favorite module these times.

Purge it from hbase?

I think we need to figure out why it takes so long to finish. The project
is small and simple?

Do you have any more specific timings for why archetypes takes so long? I
imagine that we don't need to publish javadoc for it and maybe there's a
few other steps we can cut out to make it easier to work with if we
consider the target audience and expected consumption model.

That'd be a shame. This kind of thing makes getting started a lot easier
for folks. Maybe we move these to a separate repo? It's some crazy overhead
all things considered.
