(was: Hi

I am currently working on this issue, after being assigned the task by Deepak. I have a few questions:

I have been writing the API for this which is required by the documentation, but I how could I structure the use of user level query predicate in the API functionality, which is the crux of this implementation

What was the original idea behind implementing this in Arrow, was it only the deserialization and serialization of the index or the predicate filtering functionality as well?)
