[jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-9080) Update to elsaticsearch 1.7.1

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-9080?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14698682#comment-14698682 ]

Andrea Cosentino commented on CAMEL-9080:
-----------------------------------------

Upgrading to Lucene 4.10.4, Solr 4.10.4 and Elasticsearch 1.7.1 seems to be ok.

We need the Lucene bundle 4.10.4 and Solr bundle 4.10.4. It seems SMX guys lost the release of this version. I'll open two tickets to make them available.

Anyway the elasticsearch camel-itest-karaf works corretcly with the Elasticsearch 1.7.1 bundle and Lucene 4.10.3 bundle.

I think I'll wait the 4.10.4 bundle release for Lucene and Solr to push the commit.

> It'd be good to bump Elasticsearch to the latest 1.7.1 version. This would also necessitate a Lucene upgrade to 4.10.4.
> I think this impacts:
> camel-lucene
> camel-solr (for tests)
> camel-jcr looks to be fixed at 3.x for jackrabbit, so I presume this can stay as is?
> I saw that CAMEL-8605 proposed upgrading to Lucene 5.x. If we want Lucene version alignment across components, I think 4.10.4 is the best we can do for now.
