   This seems like a reasonable thing to do. I have not kept up on the state of the art with respect to implementing ALTREP classes (and in general nanoarrow should implement them for numerics and integers, too). If you have the capacity to PR I'm happy to review, or I'm also happy to clean this up before the next release.
