Odd issue?
Hi!
Is it just me or am I seeing an odd development with current 2.8
branch where random newlines are added when you are editing a page?
You won't see it immediately, it appears after a while.
Could it be related to the timed preview thing or is my Mac keyboard
breaking down?
(OSX 10.4, Firefox 3)

I can get it to replicate without fail if I just keep a letter key
pressed and rely on auto-repeat. Interestingly, it almost always
fails at the same point, so you get very nicely right-aligned text.
Is not repeatable in Safari, but is repeatable (and highly annoying)
in Firefox 3.0.4.

yep, confirmed -- FF is apparently throwing twice a 'change' event to
the textarea.
I will check this out

...and replacing the jspwiki-edit.js with the one from 2.8.0 fixes
the issue. So IMO 2.8.1 *has* a bug.

I see the issue on 2.8.1-svn-11, but not on 2.8.0. So my guess is
that this has something to do with the timed preview.

:-)
I don't feel like a complete fool anymore now.
I have the same, about every 3 seconds it looks like the cursor is
positioned to the end of the page.
I only have it sometimes on FF3/Linux, and even if the Preview is unchecked.
Can't find out when it does and does not occur.
No JavaScript errors.

Harry

Could be the timed preview thing, although I never noticed it myself.
I think Harry reported this before in JIRA, but was not reproducable.
