**Describe the bug**
Following the instructions on the Apache Pulsar documentation site found [here](https://pulsar.apache.org/docs/getting-started-docker), the pulsar cluster fails to start.
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. On a machine with Docker installed, open a shell
2. Run the following command:
$ docker run -it -p 6650:6650 -p 8080:8080 --mount source=pulsardata,target=/pulsar/data --mount source=pulsarconf,target=/pulsar/conf apachepulsar/pulsar:@pulsar:version@ bin/pulsar standalone
3. See error
**Expected behavior**
A pulsar cluster should run inside a docker container without errors
