[jira] (CONTINUUM-2715) Support alternate queueing mechanisms
Brett Porter created CONTINUUM-2715:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Support alternate queueing mechanisms
Key: CONTINUUM-2715
URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-2715
Project: Continuum
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Distributed Builds
Affects Versions: 1.4.1
Reporter: Brett Porter
Currently, builds are assigned to an agent at the time that they are queued, and they have a preference to be sticky to their previous agent. This can mean that if there is a very large build that is occurring, other builds can get stuck behind it even if there are agents available.
Alternate options for scheduling should be available.
