    Cassandra does't take pull requests via github (as the primary repository is hosted elsewhere), you have to create an issue and submit a patch via https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/cassandra/. Please see guidelines here: https://wiki.apache.org/cassandra/HowToContribute
